E the Dare Devil....

Ethan amazes me every day!

Today, he stood on his quad, and got on his tippy toes to reach a light switch. It was so cute to witness:) Of course, eventually he tumbled down. But, he got right up and tried again.

Right before the tumble:

Dasher, Dancer, and ROSEY Cheeks!

Here is the newest reindeer to join the pack. As you can see, he is NOT happy about it all!!!

Another Griswold tree....

At the end of the Christmas season last year, we said that we were NOT getting another Griswold tree. If you need a reminder of how BIG the tree was last year, click here. Well, the SPIRIT got a hold of this year!!! It's so hard to say SMALL tree when you're walking amongst the biggest, and most beautiful trees. So we found another Griswold tree; and really, we already had all the lights and ornaments, so why not?
As Brock and I were lugging in the tree this weekend, he shouted "WE ARE NOT GETTING A BIG TREE NEXT YEAR!!" LOL, :) :) I giggle at the thought. Because honestly, I LOVE the BIG tree! It looks so beautiful down our hallway, and the GLOW from the tree out the 2nd story window has a warming effect on my heart!!!

Here is the view as it lays down(notice Brock's head):

We were smart this year, and put lights on the top half before bringing it in:

View from the Family Room:

Ethan LOVES the tree. He got to explore it a little bit today:

P.S. The tree is 15 years old, while Brock was putting on the lights, I entertained myself by counting the rings...LOL

Tree Hunt 2009

Another yearly tradition, another bah hum bug for Ethan:(

I remember sitting in the car lots last year and this year, I thought that he would LOVE the snow and walking around. Nope! I think it was mainly due to not napping on the way up. Since he just started walking, I thought that using the carrier would be best for him and me. Boy, oh boy! My back is still killing me...it's one thing to carry your 25 lb toddler, but another to do it while walking in snow! Nevertheless, we got a GREAT tree (pics of that to come next week, and YES, this one might be bigger than last years), and had a wonderful time. We also missed enjoying this time with the Brown family :(
Here are the only pics I got:

Our view from the inside:

Here comes Santa Claus, right down BELLEVUE way....

Snowflake Lane is a holiday show that Bellevue puts on every night. They have drummers, music, a light show and snow falling each night. We knew that Ethan would LOVE it! We already had plans with the Peraltas to watch the show later this month, but we decided at the last minute to go welcome Santa Claus.

Bundled up:

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we went to Redmond to celebrate Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa Rank. We all had a GREAT time!
Ethan was WALKING all over...yes, you read that right...E is finally walking! I've been trying to post a video of him doing this for a while, but I think it's too long:(

Ethan LOVED rocking in his chair (it used to be Brock's when he was young).

He also loved playing in the tent from the Van Duine Family.
Daddy in the tent:

Happy 2nd Birthday, LilyAnn!!!!

Sorry that it has been so long since my last post; the cold/flu season has really hit us this year:(
Luckily, during this icky season we were all healthy enough to celebrate Lily's 2nd Birthday. The celebration was at the Olympia Hands On Children's Museum. It was sooooo much fun!!! Ethan was not fully walking at this time, but he stilled enjoyed playing with everything, particularly the stop sign on the milk delivery truck. We didn't get any pics of the Birthday girl:( :( :(
Here are some pics:

ZEBRA...wait, P-I-M-P!

We did not take Ethan trick or treating this year. We thought he would have more fun answering the door, which he did...the 5 times the doorbell rang. The amount of trick or treaters we had was disappointing...but Ethan defiantly kept us entertained.

He wore his costume with out a fuss!!! But he took the head off, and unzipped...which gave the look of Pimp in certain picture...we so wished we had a gold chain for him.
Check him out:

Pumpkin Patch

We had a great day at the Pumpkin Patches...yep, we went to more than one. The first one wasn't patch friendly...way too muddy and too many Yellow Jackets....why are these still out? So we looked at all the animals and then took off:

At the second place, we borrowed a wagon to carry Ethan and our pumpkins. Ethan had fallen asleep on the drive, but he transitioned to the wagon, sleeping.

He LOVED the wagon (I know what is on his list this year for Christmas).
