Ethan got a SLIDE for Christmas; and for now it's indoors. I can't believe the progress he has made in a short amount of time. By progress I mean how much more comfortable he is climbing to the top, bringing his leg around and VARIETY of sliding positions! I wish that I can say that MOM has gotten more comfortable, but I am not sure that there is enough time for that!

We have been blessed with BEAUTIFUL weather this last week! We decided to go visit the park today. I can't wait until SUMMER when Ethan and I can go daily:) Funny, he was MORE interested into watching everyone than plaing...such a nosy body!

Hello? Can you hear me now?

Ethan has been using everything from his hand, to a matchbox car, to a block as a phone. During my deep clean over Christmas break, I stumbled upon our old cell phones and charger. So we decided to charge one, and set it to airplane mode (no out going or in going calls). Ethan LOVES it!!!

P.S. The other night during bath, Ethan wasn't helping to clean up...he was staring off into space. I called out, "Hello? McFly?" Ethan put his hand to his ear and started talking, maybe to McFly:)

This last weekend, Ethan learned a new skill...kicking a ball! I was just joking when I said, "kick the ball." But I forgot that he knows 'kick' from swim class....
As you have witnessed in the video, he surely can throw!!!!

Christmas Spirit

One Saturday a few weeks back, Brock and I decorated the HUGE tree and watched Christmas movies all day. We threw some pillows onto the ground and got comfy! Who knew that Ethan would be so interested in the movies?!?! He seriously watched most of them with us:) He also enjoyed the Christmas music at the beginning of A Christmas Story....
