FREAK-A-ZOID and other items....

I am SICK to my stomach!!!! Today, our little Family went to Redmond to visit GMA and GPA Rank. GMA Rank was busy at a Holiday Bazaar, where we up picked up a CUTE hat for Ethan (as the turkey one I bought is way too small for his BIG head). Here are pictures of him in the stylish hat:

On the way home, we decided to stop by Fred Meyer to pick up some items for dinner. We knew we were cutting it close to his feeding time, but it was going to be QUICK. Of course, just as we started gathering items, he started crying. Not as bad as he can get (right, Stacy?), but he was crying. Now we were picking up our pace as to not to disturb others. While I was picking out steak, a lady approached me and said "boy, sounds like he is hungry." I said, no...just woke up from a nap. And we moved onto the next item...i was on the look out for her and she didn't seem to follow us. As I was grabbing beans, she approached Brock and Ethan...this time mentioning that "we were BAD parents for starving our child, that the he was in DISTRESS and that CPS needed to be notified"...YES, SHE SAID THIS!!!! She also went to TOUCH HIM!!! Brock pushed her hand away (she seemed surprise that HE TOUCHED HER)!!!! At this time, I returned and told her to LEAVE or I was going to contact security. As we paid, I asked for an escort to leave the building...at this time, she was reporting us to management. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS!!!!!????!!!! I am glad that I didn't have time to think about how to respond...especially after she tried to touch to him...otherwise the police would have been called. It's been hours, and I still feel VIOLATED by this FREAKAZOID!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, moving on.
Here is Ethan in his saucer...he is such a BIG boy, already holding his head really well and he is moving up in the world of toys!
Here is the youngest Dave Matthews Fan; as many of you know, Brock and I are DMB fans! Thanks to Auntie Courtney, Ethan has his first DMB shirt:)

Here are pics of Ethan in his latest bath. I wanted to post them because they show how HEALTHY Ethan is (contrary to what the FREAKAZOID thinks)...hehhehe...his thigh rolls are funny, and I call his arms...Popeye arms:) BTW, he LOVES kicking his legs and getting me wet...

In case you have been wondering, the red spot is a BIRTHMARK...it will eventually disappear, but right now it can seem a bit scary.
As I previously stated, Ethan and Lily hang out twice a week. You may or may not know it, but Brock grew up an only child and didn't hang out with babies/kids very much. In order to keep Ethan out of daycare, we share days with Stacy. So on Fridays, Brock has both Ethan and Lily--yes, he went straight from no experience to handling 2...which can be quite a challenge. When I came home yesterday, Lily wasn't interested in me...she wanted to snuggle with her Uncle Brock. Here is a picture of that (so SWEET):

Well, I hope that this week goes by quickly for all of you. Check back for pics of the FIRST THANKSGIVING at our house, Christmas tree hunting and more..........

LOVE YOU ALL:) :) :)

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY, Lily!!!!!

Lily is Ethan's Best friend...She is the daughter of our BFs Stacy and Alex. She just turned 1...she was the cutest Birthday Girl, Ever!

Lily and Ethan spend 2 days a week together...this week, Ethan was needy with Aunt Stacy...As Stacy was patting him on the back, Lily helped out and gave him a few pats...she will make a GREAT BIG SISTER in FEB.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy 3 Months, Ethan!

WOW!!!

Ethan is defiantly a thumb sucker, and I am okay with it (thanks to some advice from R. Brown). It's weird how society makes us feel as if thumb sucking is HORRIBLE...I should have learned my lesson from the whole breast feeding issue.

Ethan gets soooooo FRUSTRATED when he is trying to find his right thumb...hehehe...the whole fist (sometimes both) are jammed into his month. I've noticed that as soon as he finds it, he is CONTENT, and today he fell asleep immediately after finding it.

Here is his updated monthly picture:

Here are some other CUTE pics of him in the last week or so...

ETHAN is soooooo CAMERA happy:)

Also, we just got the cutest outfits from both Grandma's...can't wait to get him in them. I have recently (today) became obsessed with CUTE, different clothes....meaning not what you can find at Target, Walmart, etc...I found a baby boutique in downtown Oly that I am hitting up tomorrow. I guess I just want him to stand out from the rest....Also, I am on the lookout for CUTE socks as well. I am open for suggestions for places to shop:) (shhhh, don't tell brock...hehehhehe)

P.S. Watch for pics of Ethan rolling over.....he is so close!!!!! Also, Brock got Ethan to giggle..I still haven't heard it :( :(

Uh-OH!!!!

I think we have a thumb sucker in the making....
surprise, surprise, it isn't Brock!!!!
The last few days, Ethan has been trying to find a finger. He has been a hand sucker since the day he was born; we've tried to get him addicted to a pacifier instead, but it's not working. I ran some errands this afternoon and this is what I came home to:

Here are some pics from Ethan's first Halloween. The shirt is a gift from the Vandine Family..
he wore it along with his pumpkin hat. Yes, we are cruel parents;
hey, we can only get a way with it for the first year! I am on the look out for a Turkey,
Pilgram, or Native American hat for Thanksgiving! This smiley pic was done without us tickling him or
making a fool of ourselves...he was smiling for the camera:)

The Halloween snake was a gift from one of my students' for Ethan...

he loved it...it went directly to the mouth. Playtime wore him out today.
